My name is Duncan Henderson. I am the sole practitioner and owner of the firm. I set up in 2002 to specialise in criminal defence work. My office manager is Mrs Sarah Henderson,BSc, a qualified grade 1 paralegal. I hope you will find this website helpful if you are thinking of consulting me. As you will gather from the name my firm practices only criminal law in the Inverness area. I undertake all aspects of criminal law including road traffic, sex offences, dishonesty, assault, drugs etc. The work covers everything from initial police interview up to High Court indictments. When required I also undertake criminal appeals.

I also undertake PACE interviews for service personnel. I am a founding member of the Association of Military Court Advocates. I no longer undertake court Martial work due to the Courts only sitting in England.

I undertake work in Inverness Sheriff and Inverness JP Courts. I have had to concentrate on these Courts due to pressure of business. Summary justice has been reformed in March 2008 and there will be changes in practice. Legal aid reforms are to take place in July 08.
